Architect’s former Residence

This project involved a complete renovation and addition to a run-down early modern production house in Los Angeles. The home was fully renovated with redesigned front and backyard hardscape and landscape, a newly added street frontage, an open floor plan, and expanded fenestration to enhance natural light and a free-flowing indoor-outdoor connection. As a playful bonus, the architect used surplus construction materials to build a treehouse on the hillside.
