Architect’s Residence + Lot

This project consists of two adjacent lots in Palm Springs and is part of a two-phase development. Lot 1, the smaller and more geometrically complex of the two, will be built first, followed by Lot 2, which will share the same driveway. Lot 1 will serve as the architect’s second home and includes a music studio and office, separated from the main house by a bridge. Both sites are challenged by a steep hillside at the rear. The design is shaped by these site constraints and reflects a desire to create a private courtyard.
