This three-unit residential development was designed as an alternative to a 6 unit version under the City of Los Angeles’ Small Lot Subdivision Ordinance, specifically within an RD1.5-zoned site. The ordinance allows for the subdivision of single-family lots in RD zones into multiple fee-simple lots, enabling increased residential density while preserving the character and scale of detached housing. The project proposes three contemporary units, each with private roof decks and access to a shared pool.
